nDzuti: This was our favourite type of Safari and accommodation and we hope to come back to it one day with a group of friends. The house is so beautiful and built in a way that everybody has extreme privacy, but has such a comfortable set up, so you can be together and socialize either inside or outside which is so important when you want to have some time out and just relax and read. The grounds are lovely and the dining al fresco was memorable. We loved Judy’s sparkling personality and Bruce, the strong silent type, yet very communicative when he can talk about the bush, showed us real magical moments with the animals. Their daughter and her boyfriend Justin are obviously a chip of the old block and you can see how much passion and knowledge everybody has about nature. I cannot wait to get back to see them and hear some more of the amazing stories they must have to tell. The food was amazing, everybody loved the South African specialties that were added to every meal. My absolute favourite was lamb livers. Who would have thought! I was able to get the best photographs of the animals, because Bruce does not only find the animals, he also sees when the light is perfect and how to position us so we can get the best images. There was never any rush (and no other cars lining up). We felt like we were part of the discovery, not just a viewer of animals. The wonderful thing about this experience was that you could feel that event though the Meesers go out every day to see and find the animals, they seem to be as thrilled as someone who has never seen them. They appreciate every single species and I am so happy that they took the time not just for the lions, elephants, giraffes and rhinos, but also for the impalas that everybody else does not take time to look at anymore. Birding was also very, very good and in addition we learned a bit of the trees and grasses from Judy and Justin. While we had such great close up encounters, one of the pictures that will always stay in my mind is from the last morning drive and it showed a herd of elephants in the distance grazing in the hills. A perfect ending to a trip of a lifetime. - Rita and Erick Bauer
We stayed in the nDzuti Safari Camp with a group of 8 people (family/friends) over the christmas days and we all really enjoyed it. As the camp only has 4 rooms, we had the whole lodge for ourselves and enjoyed the private atmosphere and the special bush experience. Upon arrival, an elephant was very close to the lodge which was a very special experience for all of us. The food prepared by Sina, the cook, was very delicious and tasty and always fresh. We had a wonderful christmas lunch in the garden in the shade under the trees, nicely decorated table, that was really great! Our games drives with the ranger Bruce were great, although some more explanations and comments would have been appreciated. The whole lodge had just been renovated/trebuilt, so the rooms and bathrooms were brandnew and well equiped and thanks to the aircon nice and cool! - Anankaja, Pretoria
We had the honor of staying at nDzuti twice last year, we enjoyed our stay so much the first time that we even decided to spend Christmas 2011 there. Being from Europe (Belgium), and having lived in South Africa for the past 5 years, we have travelled extensively in South Africa. This definitely is one of the best Safari experiences we have had so far. At nDzuti, we really feel at home, thanks to the warm family atmosphere created by the hosts, who turned our stay into unforgettable bush experience. I can't wait to have that next superb meal around the fire while the Lions are calling or the Elephants are browsing in proximity. - Jan Praet, Johannesburg
Far away from the Klaserie gate, in the middle of the bush, freshly renovated after the floods of Jan 2012, this Camp is a little gem. Wonderful food, very nice rooms, tastefully decorated, large living room and dining area. The hosts are attentive but do not intrude on your privacy. The game drives are usually good and can at times be excellent - Bruce is an extremely experienced ranger, and you can appreciate this even more once you've gotten used to the smoking breaks he takes every 30 minutes. For us, the nDzuti experience was made unforgettable by a lare elephant bull who seemed to have taken a liking to the environment. He came within a metre of the fence, apparently unperturbed by our presence. While this will likely not be a permanent feature, it shows how well the Camp is integrated into the bush. - Akkaj, Pretoria
If you want the quiet serene getaway with family and friends to a more private cosy place then Ndzuti is the place to go. You are in the middle of the bush surrounded by nature with the most amazing small retreat where they make you most welcome, from early morning to late at night. You can do self catering but it is cheaper to have them tend to your needs. My only sorry part was I found out they did microlighting over the bush when we were leaving - I would love to take my son there - so dfinately will be back, Sheree and Brett were very very knowledgable, fun and entertaining. My dad will remember this trip for a long time to come and my friend have moved back to Jhb from CT so they will be there again - Kimstockton, Johanesburg
I recently returned from my first Safari experience in South Africa. Not only did the nDzuti camp experience meet every expectation I had, but it far surpassed them! I give my highest recommendation to anyone seeking a comfortable and exhilarating safari wishing to see a host of animals (including the big 5) and birds with a truly knowledgeable and genuinely caring staff. Brett, Sherie, Don, Bruce and the staff could not have been more accommodating and professional throughout the entire 5 day Safari and stay at nDzuti. The vast knowledge of every animal, bird and plant that our guide Brett presented was only surpassed by his ability to track them down. The landscape allowed for breathtaking views high above rivers and made for some amazing photo opportunities. Getting close to the animals was an absolute thrill and a feeling that I will remember for a long time to come. I will not soon forget the elephants, lions, wildebeests, rhinos, giraffes, cape buffalo, antelope, water buck, hippos, zebras, and birds too numerous to count that we encountered during our safari. We loved it so much that we decided to extend our trip an extra day, just so we didn't miss a thing. Sherie made delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner that gave the experience a wonderful touch of home cooking. The entire experience was made even better by the comfortable atmosphere and friendships that we developed with our guide Brett and cook Sherie; I could not imagine that a better Safari experience is possible than my experience at nDzuti, an experience of a lifetime and one that I will always cherish! - jp22103, Virginia, USA
Very nice location: from the garden we saw elephants, giraffes and rhinos. In the garden lovely: beautifully landscaped with several seats, lots of birds and monkeys (watch your muffins at breakfast!) Judy and Bruce know the area very well and go through a lot of trouble to show guests everything. Welcoming and cozy. - Rieki, Netherlands
Fantastic. A superb experience, off the beaten path, away from the crowds. Where you are treated like family, very close to intimate wildlife experience coupled with fabulous accommodation & surroundings. Beautiful, relaxing and exciting. We highly recommend this one. Thanks Judy and Bruce, we had a wonderful time. Pat and Dianna Canada - Pat and Dianna from Canada

Hi Bruce and Judy Halfway home from an unforgettable few days safari in your amazing country. Thank you for your hospitality. I did enjoy meeting you and my all-too-short visit to nDzuti. I'm thrilled to had a chance to “sample” your little piece of Africa – something I never dreamed would happen. Kind regards Tim - Tim Dennis 20 May 2015

My wife and I spent four days and three nights in this Camp. I doubt that we could have chosen a better place. The natural setting is wonderful, the accommodation and the food (thanks Mama Sinna) are superb. Spacious, neat, luminous and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. All of the bedrooms face different sides of the bush.

The owners, Bruce and Judy, transmit a real enthusiasm for what they do. They are knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. Every of the two tours organized daily in which we participated offered a surprise : a very small baby rhino playing in the river bank under its mother supervision, an elephant parade, the elegant giraffes, beautiful birds, a huge lion, a lazy hippo, amazing zebras, and the always graceful impalas.

The dinner is an occasion to share with other guests the impressions of the day. And while we talk and eat, by a nice fire, we are surprised by every sort of animals coming to drink in the very close water hole built by the owners.

We would love to come back very soon. Thanks Bruce, thanks Judy; you made this experience unforgettable.

Dear nDzuti-Team, This is to Judy: in the rush of leaving I completely forgot to thank you! I noticed how you picked up on me being a vegetarian at dinner on Saturday and realized only the next morning that from then on the kitchen stuff cooked special meals for me. This is was so thoughtful and really not necessary. I truly appreciate that! Also, thanks again to Kyle who made our stay unforgettable. Our whole game drive group (us three and the Argentinian family of four) was incredibly amazed by his knowledge and patience and we couldn’t have wished for a better guide. :-) All the best Bernadette Aigner
